That's what we do day in, day out. We're not a national call centre, we're local lads working across the city — Jesmond, Gosforth, Heaton, Byker, the Quayside. House and flat removals is the core, but most days we're also doing furniture collection and delivery — American fridge freezers people have bought on Marketplace that won't fit through the door without the doors off — office and business removals around the city centre where we have to start at 6am to get the loading bay, and storage and moving support for folks using the units in Benwell.
On the clearance side, we get called for house and flat clearances when tenancies end, garden and waste clearances when the back lane has had years of stuff dumped in it, and the two that need a bit more care — hoarder's house clearance where we go steady, sort charity and recycling properly, no judgement, and bereavement clearance where we just get on with it quietly and leave the place tidy. Anything that can't be saved goes to Brunswick and Byker — council licensed, paperwork kept.
